By accessing or using NoiseDisplay ("the Service") at noisedisplay.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
NoiseDisplay is a browser-based ambient noise player and screen display tool. It provides:
All audio is generated locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. We do not stream or host audio files.
The free tier of NoiseDisplay is available without registration. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. The free tier may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tier features at any time.
NoiseDisplay Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including premium noise types, no advertisements, custom display colors, sleep timer auto-stop, and offline access.
Pricing: $5.37/month (billed monthly) or $37.00/year (billed annually). Prices are in US dollars and subject to applicable taxes.
Billing: Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will be charged at the start of each billing period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us at hello@noisedisplay.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied. To request a refund, email hello@noisedisplay.com within 7 days of purchase. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Notice will be provided via email to your registered address. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

All content on NoiseDisplay — including its design, code, branding, and written content — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The noise generation algorithms are implemented using standard Web Audio API techniques and are not claimed as proprietary. The NoiseDisplay brand name, logo, and visual identity are our intellectual property.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no medical or therapeutic claims about the effects of ambient noise or display modes on sleep, focus, or health.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoiseDisplay and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
